Sky and I had our 4th Anniversary October 8, 2009! We celebrated at the View Point Inn, which over looks the Columbia Gorge. It was amazing :)


Twilight's 'Prom Scene' was filmed here...heehee! I know! I'm a huge nerd. They had special 'Twilight' drinks on the menu. I tried the 'Edward Elixir' it was very good! Although, I can't remember what as in it.



The Inn was built in 1924 and Sky just thought he would 're-enact' what some posh upscale man would be posed like over looking the Columbia...lol! I will never be bored.

We had our first ultrasound! What an amazing experience.

ITS A BOY!!!

I can't begin to describe the feeling we both had seeing our first baby for the first time! It was totally crazy feeling the baby move then SEE the baby move on the screen. All Sky could do was sit in awe while staring :) Our technician was amazing! She was so quick and very precise. She was able to show us his lil feet, hands and all his bones in those appendages. We also got to see all 4 chambers of his heart, his diaphragm, spine and liver. He really is a little human being! lol!

The first of May Sky and I went on a vacation to Sunriver. Which was a blast! I had a great time relaxing, riding bikes, exploring Sunriver and Bend. We had planned this for a few months so I was really excited when the day came for us to leave :) Some really incredibly news came to us while we were there....

I'm pregnant! I want this blog to be a part of my journey. That way family that is far from us (which is all of them now...boo) can keep track of how I'm doing. I will do my best to update regularly!


As of right now I am 10 1/2 weeks along! So in 1 1/2 weeks I will be in my second trimester! Craziness! I haven't gone to the Dr yet for my first visit because I am waiting to hear back on my Oregon Health Plan acceptance. I'm positive I will be accepted but its all the waiting...ugh! So, hopefully soon I will get to have my first ultrasound...oh man, I can't wait!


Sky did the cutest thing last night. I was laying in the reclined part of the couch next to a friend and we were talking about how our baby can probably hear a lot that is going on. Sky comes over and squishes his face into my belly and kinda yells, "Iiiiiii LLlloooooovvvveee YYYooooouuu!" lol! I just died laughing! It was so sweet and wonderful :) I know there will be more moments like that in the future.No, that isn't me...lol. Just a crazy picture I found :)

Ah, good to be bloggin....trip to Oxbow

Hey to all who are reading our new lil blog! We just wanted to have this up and running mostly because Gen misses blogging to Sky's family and letting them in on our mischievous ways.

Here's some pictures from our outing to Oxbow Park! We wanted to show Nate some cool stuff near where we live so I took him here! This is also a location for the Twilight movie that was filmed here :) And yes. Nate was not excited at all by that fact.
